The X-Men are fighting someone dressed as a locust controlling giant bugs, because that is their life.
Narration: Suddenly, the resourceful Marvel Girl steps to the fore, and…
Marvel Girl: His antennae! It’s through them that he controls his creatures! If only I can…
Marvel Girl mentally twists his antennae.
Locust: So! In desperation, the female X-Men hurls herself against me! Do not think to stir my heart to mercy! For still I order my giant subjects to destroy all of you! But…they are lumbering towards me! Stop! I, your ruler, command you to stop!
The giant beetles continue to lumber towards him.
Locust: It…it’s impossible! Both of my insect creations are attacking me! But I can yet escape! In my mobile lab…is an antidote which will make them small again.
Cylcops: Great work, Jean. He didn’t see you telekinetically knotting his antennae!

Three of the X-Men are surrounded by flames!
Marvel Girl: Cyclops is right! Angel, you can fly over the flames while I use my telekinesis to levitate Scott over them!
Angel: No! Then you’ll be trapped! I’ll wait here and carry you over, as soon as Cyke is clear!
Cyclops: Angel’s right! It’s the only way! Hurry, Jean! We’ve got to rejoin Hank and Bobby!

In Uncanny X-Men 16, Jean helps Angel and Cyclops with no thought to her own safety.
Also, everyone is right!
